Psychiatrists view of Bilbo

Bilbo (where he to sit on a couch and talk with a shrink) would be a very interesting study; terminating in these ideas about his personality:
paranoia = he is constantly worried about the ring.
addiction = can't leave the ring for one minute without having a panic attack.
avoidance = he tries to ignore his problems by hosting huge parties, by raising Frodo, and by daydreaming about travels.
Diagnoses: Bilbo needs to let go of the ring (which he does), allow Frodo to care for himself (which he does), and settle into a boring life style.
(This is a psychiatrists' point of view and I do not hold all of these views myself!) What do you think?
