~Life Over Death~This is a featured page

So much death had he seen,
Such a long life he had known.
My father knew it all had been
Worth the price, long outgrown.
The book felt heavy in unfamiliar arms,
Though its tales held my heart.
His smile lost none of its charms,
I felt sadness, knew tears would start.
I felt unworthy, could not fill fate,
Such strength of courage to find.
"You are my daughter, I trust the state
Of your heart, your soul, your mind."
Mother gone, Frodo, gone,
Now Samwise Gamgee as well.
I must lift by head, walk on,
I had so many stories to tell.
I would continue the legend,
He would become a memory,
I would create a worthy end,
To a grand and epic story.
It was my turn to be the Brave,
My turn to live my life.
With a sad hug, sweet smile, and wave,
I would be a wonderful person, mother, wife.
