Hello, I am PropertyOfFrodo (at least I wish I was!). I decided to create this site because I wanted a place to go to read and post hobbit fan fiction. I was tired of having to wade through all sorts of other Lord of the Rings fan fiction to find exactly what I wanted. A bit about me:
Personal: I have long auburn hair, dark chocolate brown eyes, and ivory skin. I am a Christian. I believe in Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit.
My hobbies: knitting, crocheting, playing piano, teaching myself to play my lovely (acoustic) 12-string guitar (and, a year later, still not good at it! lol.), reading (duh!), writing fan fiction, and DANCING!!!
I have read many books and here is a list of the memorables: The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings(The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King) Great Expectations, Oliver Twist, The Pickwick Papers, David Copperfield (yet to finish), Sean Astin's autobiography: There and Back Again an Actor's Tale, Tolkien a Biography, etc. (I could go on and on). Oh, and duh, I almost for got some very important books: Harry Potter (The Sorcerer's Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince, and The Deathly Hallows). Oh, MORE: Dog Friday, The Amber Cat, and Dolphin Luck by Hilary McKay (children's books, but really entertaining - of course, they are by an English author). Also, the Jennie McGrady mystery book series (I forgot most of the book names) and Morningsong by Patricia H. Rushford. OOOOO! And what about the (clean) romance Enduring Faith Series (forgot most of the book names) by Susan Feldhake.
My favorite fan fiction sites are: The Mellon Chronicles(before Fellowship of the Ring fan fiction about Aragorn and Legolas's friendship), Stories of Arda (general Lord of the Rings), and, of course, FanFiction.Net (inexhaustible reading about anything, I only read Charles Dickens fan fics and a few select LOTR fan fics here... and maybe some Pirates of The Caribbean). And what about MY homepage?!!! It is where I post my sister's and my fan fiction. You are VERY welcome to check it out! I have worked VERY hard on it!
How about my favorite movies? Well, lets see... SPEED, Two Weeks Notice, While You Were Sleeping, (are you getting a theme here?) The Lake House, Miss Congeniality, You've Got Mail, (yes, I love romances) Galaxy Quest, and (duh!) The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King, The Count of Monte Cristo, and the Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl (have yet to see the others). (The Harry Potter movies are good as well, but still not a "favorite" - I have to be "in the mood".) I have probably forgotten some - oh, well.
Favorite music: Aerosmith (HOT!!!!!!), Led Zeppelin (cool for LOTR fans because some of the songs mention characters and places from the books), The Cars (just plain cool), The Kinks (ditto), The Beatles (they make me nostalgic - no, I am not THAT old, I am a teenager), AC/DC (HOT!!), Yes (really beautiful music!), the Alan Parsons Project, and The Lord of the Rings (soundtrack to the movies which totally rock!!). I will add onto this list as I think of others.
